After watching the Pixar’s movie, Ratatouille, I knew I have to try this dish. It can be prepared fairly quickly by cooking everything together at the same time, but that needs to be done in the correct sequence to not miss out the art and the flavor of the dish.

I love the taste and smell of basil. I used my home-made pesto for this recipe. It makes an ordinary pasta dish extraordinary and tasty.

Pesto is always made to taste, based on the ingredients at hand. So adjust the ingredients to your taste. Serve with pasta, or over baked potatoes, or spread over toasted baguette slices (as shown in the photo).
