Cold Stewed Cherry (Visne Kompostosu)

My favorite summer time dessert. It is easy to make. You will enjoy it in hot summer days.

1lt water
250gr sugar
500gr cherry

  • Boil the water and sugar until sugar dissolves.
  • Add the cherry, and boil about 5 minutes. When cherries crack, turn off the heat, and let it cool down.
  • When it is cool, refrigerate until served.
  • Best served cold.
